Los Angeles based manicurist Yoko Sakakura began training in nail art after moving to the US from Japan in her teens. She rose to prominence in the LA nail art community as head at MarieNails and, subsequently, as proprietor of her own nail bar. Yoko works regularly with such notable talent in the entertainment industry as Lily Gladstone, Elizabeth Debicki, Olivia Rodrigo, and Bad Bunny. She has collaborated with renowned fashion photographers including Nadia Lee Cohen, Ellen von Unwerth and David LaChapelle and her work has continued to make it into notable ad campaigns such as the Gap with Bad Bunny and onto the cover of Interview Magazine.
