Loren Canby began her love affair with makeup at eight years old by sneaking into her mother’s vanity. She understood at an early age that makeup is a powerful means of creative expression as well as a building block for self-confidence. After graduating from college with a degree in Psychology, she began work for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. In 2013, Loren moved to Los Angeles to pursue her freelance career. With relentless drive, she quickly established relationships with some of Hollywood’s most influential makeup artists, including Molly R. Stern and Fiona Stiles. While assisting, she learned that skill was only half of the job, and that applying makeup came with the rewarding responsibility of helping every client feel confident and beautiful. Today, Loren focuses on building her clientele by enhancing their natural beauty with a fresh approach and not straying from her belief that beauty starts within.
