Uzo, is currently Global Artistry Director for NARS Cosmetics, a renowned Global Makeup Artist, Celebrity Makeup Artist and Product Development consultant with over 30-years of experience working in the beauty industry.
Uzo recently launched her own eponymous brand UZO, a niche skincare and cosmetics essential line in 2023 where she draws on previous expertise after having graduated from Medical School with a dual degree in Medicine and Surgery before switching careers to work with prestige cosmetic brands such as NARS Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and YSL Beauty.
Also as an in-demand beauty authority she has been featured in numerous fashion and digital publications such as Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, Cosmopolitan and The Zoe Report, Uzo’s work has also been featured in editorials and campaigns (Vogue, V Magazine, Marie Claire) to gracing the red carpet (Academy Awards, Golden Globes Awards, Emmy Awards, Grammys Awards) and Fashion Week (Rodarte, Philip Lim, Julien Macdonald). Her high-profile clientele includes Naomi Campbell, Beverly Johnson, Grace Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Tessa Thompson, Aurora James, and Yara Shahidi to list a few . She has also worked with celebrated photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Nan Goldin and Annie Liebovitz.
